Four Tips for Better Ads Performance on Google Adwords

It goes without saying: Good ads are the key factor in your campaign. Think about it: You work hard, choose effective keywords, define a target audience , set a daily budget, even get many impressions but NO clicks. Conclusion: your campaign is invisible; your audience didn?t even see it.

You don?t have to be an advertising genius to get people to sit up and notice. Here are some tips to get your ads more visible:

1. Capital letters: In order to make your ads more visible use capital letters.Google does not allow you to capitalize every letter in your ad, but nothing stops you from capitalizing the first letter of each and every word?if that?s what get their attention.

2. Be generous with punctuation marks when you can: Google allows you to use exclamations marks in your ads, but not everywhere, so use it whenever it's possible!!!. Remember! Exclamation marks are allowed once within the two description lines! If you use it at the end the second description line after the right text you create a sense of urgency. It?s as easy as that!

3. Use Search Keywords in your Ad: When writing an ad, try using your keyword search terms. Google will highlight keywords in the text of your ad if they are already in your list of keywords . Use those terms. In other words: Let Google do the talking for you...

4. Use Dynamic Text: Google Adwords dynamic text lets advertisers change the ad text according to the search term entered by the user. This allows your ad to be more visible in two very simple ways. First, if a user searches a term in a search engine, an ad using that term will pop out to him and there?s a much better chance that he?ll click the ad. Second, since the same keywords that are used in the search term are used in the ad, that text will be automatically highlighted by Google. In other words: Free advertisement for your advertisement.
